Hence, in honor of World Environment Day (#WED2024), the MITCON family organized a Cleaning Drive at the iconic Sinhgad Fort in Pune this past Saturday, June 8th, 2024. Choosing this popular location aimed to reach a wider audience and raise awareness about this important day in a more engaging way.
MITCON volunteers actively collected plastic and general waste by thoroughly combing the entire fort area. The Cleaning Drive successfully gathered 8 sacks of waste. Enthusiastic volunteers from various divisions of MITCON participated in the initiative.
