SOLFOS-P/ FOSBACT -P/ VIGOURFOS / BACTOWIN / TWIN- P/ POTFOS-B / FOSPOWER

(You may please select a name for product)

Introduction

MITCON biotechnology incubation center has developed a consortium culture. This formulation helps plants during hardening process by increasing nutrient availability. This ultimately increases the productivity of plant during hardening process.

Composition :
A consortium of salt solubilizing beneficial micro- organisms.

Function :
Concentration of insoluble form of salt is usually higher in soil which is prepared for hardening purpose. Xxx helps dissolution of these insoluble compounds & helps effective solubilization, mobilization & utilization of nutrients by plants. It also helps in lowering pH of saline soil to acidic condition to enhance its biological activities.

Application :

  • Mix 1 litre of xxx with 100 liters of water and make slurry.
  • This total mixture can be poured direcly to polybags containing plants or while preparing soil for hardening.
  • For elder plants, this solution may be applied by drenching 5% concentrates.

Crops :
Banana, Grapes, Pomegranate, Sugar cane, Vegetables, Ornamental plants

Precaution :

  • Do not mix & use with chemical fertilizers & pesticides.
  • Use before expiry date mentioned on the label.
  • Keep the bottle in shade / cool place and away from sunlight
  • Apply early in morning / evening.

PLANT TISSUE CULTURE

The technique of tissue culture is based on the principle of ‘Totipotency’, which is defined as the ability and capacity of the cell to divide, redivide and develop into whole organism. The technology involves selection of mother plant and explant preparation, growing of these explants on a defined medium in glass vessel (in vitro), incubation in ideal growing conditions & finally transfer of these plants from glass vessels to natural environment (hardening). All these constitute protocol for tissue culture, which varies from species & variety to variety.

General Steps of Micropropagation
  • Glassware cleaning & Sterilization.
  • Stock solution preparation.
  • Nutrient medium preparation.
  • Surface sterilization of explant & Inoculation.
  • Subculture followed by rooting.
  • Hardening.
  • For tissue culture techniques, glassware washing/cleaning and sterilization is the first and important step. After this step using macro & micro nutrient chemicals in a particular concentration which is a ideal for in vitro growth of plant is stock solution preparation. These stock solutions are used in preparation of nutrient medium. This sterilized medium is used for inoculation of explant (excised part of plant).
