Appointment of MITCON as Project Management Consultant by Ministry of Food Processing Industries, New Delhi

Monday, December 3, 2007 - Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government Of India, New Delhi has appointed MITCON as Project Management Consultant (PMC) for Infrastructure Development Schemes and for setting up/ upgradation of Food Testing  Laboratories.

MITCON will provide consultancy services for Mega Food Parks, Strategic Distribution Centers, Modernization of Abattoirs and Quality control Laboratories.

Ministry of Food Processing Industries has formulated and implemented several schemes to provide financial assistance for development of food Processing sector. In the near future due to encouraging policies of the Ministry Investment  in food Processing sector will be increased on large scale which will help to avoid losses of perishable agriculture produce. This will also give value addition to farmers produce.

MITCON has completed 25 years and is already providing consultancy services to Ministry of Food Processing Industries along with other Government, Cooperative and Private Organisations in Agriculture and Food Processing Sector. MITCON provides consultancy services for Pre-feasibility, Pre-investment, Project Identification, Techno Economic Feasibility Report / Detail Project Report, Project Appraisals, Project Engineering, Inspection & Monitoring, Market Survey & Loan Syndication.
